Correspondent Banking and Trade Finance are managed by Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna for all the banks in the Group (although sardinian subsidiaries Banco di Sardegna and Banca di Sassari still run part of their business independently): all transactions routed to Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna in favor of BPER Group customers are processed without any additional charges or banking days.

The BPER Group is now present in 17 Italian regions, with a network of 1,300 branches. Through a sound partnership network, the bank can support its customers in Europe and in the rest of the world.

CORRESPONDENT BANKING AND TRADE FINANCE

Correspondent Banking and Trade Finance are managed by Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna (BIC: BPMOIT22XXX) for all the banks in the Group (although sardinian subsidiaries Banco di Sardegna and Banca di Sassari still run part of their business independently): all transactions routed to Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna in favor of BPER Group customers are processed without any additional charges or banking days. For payments please quote BIC of beneficiary’s Bank in field 57 and beneficiary’s IBAN in field 59.
Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna maintains many accounts and Swift test key relationships with 4’000 Correspondent Banks approximately; the bank is SEPA compliant and member of several clearing systems such as TARGET, EBA Step 1, EBA Step 2, where all BPER Group subsidiaries are client banks of Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna.
With reference to Trade Finance the Bank is ready to confirm letters of credit (L/C) issued by foreign banks from all over the world and to finalize Export Finance transactions i.e. Buyer’s (post-financing) and Supplier’s Credit (forfaiting); for the purpose of supporting said activity Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna is member of IFA (International Forfaiting Association) and is ready to cooperate with SACE (Italian ECA), EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), ADB (Asian Development Bank) and soon also with IFC (International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group).
